Dentures are natural-looking replacement teeth that are removable. Even patients wearing dentures should have a confident, safe, and beautiful smile because dentistry is all about smiles. Our practice offers customized denture services that are oriented to our patients' specific preferences and levels of comfort. We make one-of-a-kind dentures that feel good and look natural for each of our patients.
Full Dentures- When all of the natural teeth have been lost, patients are given full dentures. Full dentures are typically inserted after the gum tissue has healed, which can take months. Immediate full dentures are inserted right after the teeth are removed, and they will need to be adjusted often for the first few months of use.
Partial dentures-Used to fill in gaps where permanent teeth have been removed and are fixed to a metal frame that is connected to your natural teeth. Partially removable dentures are an alternative to bridges.
If your dentures do break, please contact our office as soon as possible to arrange an appointment. Dentures that are broken or don't fit properly can irritate your gums and mouth. Also, remember to maintain routine dental checkups every six months to ensure that your smile remains intact for many years.
Implant Supported Dentures:-An implant-supported denture is exactly what it sounds like: a denture that is supported by dental implants. This means that rather than resting on your gums like a traditional denture, it is anchored by dental implants embedded in your bone. Dental implants or screws placed within your jawbone hold the dentures in place. Once the implants are in your jaw, an implant-retained or implant-supported denture can be set in place. Unlike conventional dentures, implant supported dentures are more stable and versatile and do not require an adhesive.
